Sasuntsi David Square

Take a look at the online webcam view of the Sasuntsi Davit, of the statue of the Armenian folk epic poem hero, which is located at the Sasuntsi Davit Metro station on Tigran Mets Street. The Statue of Sasuntsi Davit on horseback stands in the centre of the square, surrounded by the Railway Workers’ Cultural Centre, a cinema and residential blocks, stands. The sculptor is Yervand Kochar, architect M. Mazmanyan. The Statue was build in 1959 and has become a symbol of the Armenian people’s love of freedom.
